Google bans tracking tool that sold users’ location data


As per Motherboard reports, Google bans a company where it is going to be sell the user's location data for COVID-19 mapping and for other purposes.

Location data company SafeGraph sells smartphone location data to anyone, and Google banned investors from the company in June, including the former Saudi intelligence chief. This means that any application using SafeGraph must remove its location collection code.
